About the Company

The PROMA Company was established in 1993 in Moscow and became the first company in Russia offering customers a new at that time type of merchandise – blinds. At first, PROMA imported blinds from abroad, then started to independently produce blinds in Moscow, later the company took up sale of complete units which afterwards became the main business line of the Company. 

Now PROMA is the leader of sun-protective system market in Russia and the largest distributor of blinds components in the country. Sales network of the Company includes 8 warehouses located in Russian cities and more than 20 exclusive distributors in Russia.  

In 2007 PROMA stepped outside Russia and opened a representative office in Kazakhstan first and later on in Armenia. 

The main business line of PROMA is sale of components for production of all sunblind types – more than 150 40-foot cargo containers pass through PROMA warehouses per year. Number of PROMA customers in Russia and abroad exceeded one thousand. 250 employees work in representative offices of the Company all over Russia. 

In addition, PROMA is the exclusive distributor of Magnum Metal, a Poland manufacturer of equipment for sunblind production. PROMA not only sales equipment but performs assembling, after sales and post warranty service of equipment, staff training and spare parts sale as well. 

Business Model

PROMA business model lies in sales of component parts for blinds and rendering of full service for sunblind manufacturers in Russia as well. We sell components and equipment, assist in manufacturing plan developing, render managerial consulting service and perform marketing customer support. This business model ensures a stable competitive advantage allowing PROMA to be ahead of its competitors.

The PROMA Company has been stably and dynamically developing during the entire 15 years of its existence. The Company shows steady growth at the rate of 30% per year within the last years.

Terms of cooperation with PROMA distribution network 

1. Provision of free-of-charge samples for first inspection at the expense of the supplier;
2. Provision of free-of-charge promotional material and samples of goods for sale of new goods on the territory of Russia.
3. Continuous provision of free-of-charge material for production of samples of goods;
4. Adjournment of payment and tied credits;
5. Exclusive distributor agreement for the territory of Russia;
6. Applying of PROMA logo to package;
7. Complying with PROMA requirements relating to shipping package of goods and number of pieces of goods per one unit pack.
